Rev Bill ReevesUpdate coming
Bible Doctrine, part of the GRSBM experience. The notes were originally from John Miles, the president of Grand Rapids School of the Bible and Music. I updated these notes in the 1990s and again today. I will be giving these lectures, which you can listen to, and I will transcribe them into notes that you can download and study.
When this project is completed, you will have done six hours of Bible Institute credit. Listening, then reading and highlighting, and making your own notes as you go along, is the effort that they put into their studies that makes the difference. It is my hope that, at your age, you could do the study, but, in particular, I'd like to challenge younger people to pick up the discipline and reach out to their generation. a big part of actually having six hours of college credit. If you look up the scriptures and read them carefully, along with the memorization of key ideas, you would be able to take a test and do quite well at it.
In ministry, your spiritual gifts and training play a part in your success in sharing the gospel or teaching the word. No school can actually guarantee this. It is all part of your relationship with God and your dedication to mastering the Bible and theology to teach others.
Even for those who go to school, Institute, or seminary, it is their effort in their studies that makes the difference. It is my hope that, at your age, you could do the study, but, in particular, I'd like to challenge younger people to pick up the discipline and reach out to their generation.
